What will I do when winter comes?
You are my sunshine.
You’re the only one who can light up my entire day
With just one word,
One hug,
One look,
One smile.
But your brightness is blinding,
Preventing my eyes from seeing what’s best for me.
Warmth radiates from your soul,
Thawing my frozen heart.
But if I get too close,
You could burn me into a million pieces,
And I’d die slowly on the inside each day.
You put the life in my eyes,
Without you my world would be cold and dark and empty.
You are my source of energy—
How could I make it through the day without you?
My whole world revolves around you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
